Subject: Frequent Violation of Traffic Rules
Sir/Madam,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to the frequent violation of traffic rules in our locality. Many drivers ignore speed limits, break traffic signals and park their vehicles haphazardly. These actions are not only illegal but also extremely dangerous for pedestrians and commuters.
The most affected areas are around the local market and nearby schools. It has become especially difficult for school children and senior citizens to cross roads safely. Minor accidents and close calls have become a daily affair due to such reckless behavior.
I humbly urge the authorities to take immediate steps. These may include frequent traffic checks, heavy penalties for rule-breakers, awareness drives, and installation of CCTV surveillance at key junctions. These measures will surely help in restoring road safety and discipline.
I hope this serious concern will be taken into account and timely action will be initiated.
Yours sincerely,
Selim/Surabhi
